Pre-release 0.3.0

Try Consolry on your own machine

Consolry is not finished yet. This pre-release runs real Minecraft servers, and you are welcome to use it, but expect bugs and missing features.

This is a pre-release, not a finished product. Things may break or change between versions. Keep your own copy of any world you care about, and only open the panel to the internet if you need to.

Windows 10 and 11

Windows

Download Consolry.exe (pre-release)
  1. Run the file you downloaded. A window opens and your browser shows the panel.
  2. Create your admin account.
  3. Create a server. Consolry downloads Minecraft and the right Java for you.

Windows may say it "protected your PC", because the pre-release is not yet signed. Choose More info, then Run anyway. Consolry then sits next to the clock as a blue icon.

64-bit Intel, AMD and ARM

Linux

curl -fsSL https://www.consolry.com/install.sh | sh
  1. Paste the command into a terminal. It installs one program, consolry, and checks the download first.
  2. Start it by typing consolry.
  3. Open http://127.0.0.1:8700 in a browser on that machine and create your admin account.

No screen on that machine? From your own computer run ssh -L 8700:127.0.0.1:8700 you@your-server, then open the same address locally.

Good to know

Before you start

It runs on your machine
The panel, your servers, worlds and backups all stay on the computer you install it on.
Friends joining
To let people outside your home join, press "Open the port for me" on the server's Network tab. Consolry asks your router to forward it.
The panel starts private
It only answers on your own machine until you choose otherwise. The Remote access page can open it to your home network or to the internet.
On your phone
There is no app store download. Open the panel in your phone's browser and add it to your home screen: it gets its own icon and opens full screen. How to set it up
Sharing a server
Friends make their own account, and you choose what each one can do from the server's Users tab.
